This is a portrait of the 1990's familial apocalypse. Other playwrights have explored the collapse of the modern family. But the members of the Knudsen family have long since given up on each other and accepted the consequences. No illusions, imaginations, or genetic connections are left. In an extremely comical split, these people have cut each other off with great relief and promised never to make contact again. The extraordinary roles: sister, brother, father, and grandmother are gifts to the right actors.
